5th International Conference on Emerging Electronics

Hosted by- Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India

Tutorial 2 : Nano-Photonics and Plasmonics

"Nanoscale Control of Light using Chip-Scale Photonics"

Date: November 25th

This tutorial will provide a comprehensive overview of the science and engineering of nanophotonics - where light-matter interactions occur on subwavelength and ultrafast time scales and the physical, chemical or structural nature of natural or artificial nanostructured matter controls these interactions. The tutorial will cover the current state-of-the-art in field of nanophotonics to include topics such as integrated nanophotonics, nanoplasmonics, metamaterials, nanofabrication, photonic-crystals, frequency combs and quantum optics.

Who Can Attend?

1. Graduate students (ME/MTech/PhD), post-doctoral fellows, and faculty from academic/technical institutions.

2. Any professional working in scientific research or industry working in development and application of Nano-Photonics and Plasmonics.
